David asks…
Which tablet is the most effective?
With so many tablets out there swarming markets everywhere which is the best out there. Ipad 2, Motorola Xoom, Samsung galaxy tab 10.1, blackberry playbook?
admin answers:
Simple answer - depends. Do you need to use commercial software, read MS Office documents, have push mail, remote access, secure device, Adobe Flash, wireless, 3G, printing, add-ons - disks, keyboards, etc., huge battery life, robustness, enterprise compatibility, personal use? While they're much of a muchness there are enough differences between them that you can choose one that meets your needs more than the others.
Donna asks…
what is the best tablet from these four?
1. Apple iPad
2. Samsung galaxy tab (please tell what provider)
3. Motorola Xoom
4. blackberry playbook
please provide specific details such as memory wise, app wise, quality, ect.
Thanks!

Apple iPad 2. No question about it. Samsung Galaxy Tab's display is to small and blackberry playbook doesn't have a good app but is good if you have a blackberry smartphone because you can sync all your mail from your smartphone running os 6 to playbook. Whereas Motorola Xoom is just too bad. If you are getting iPad, get iPad 2. In the US, iPad 2 has the same price but in some countries, iPad 2 is cheaper than iPad 1.
Daniel asks…
Galaxy Tab 10.1 or Motorla xoom?
i'm thinking of buying a tablet, i dont know which one to buy.
Next week ill have about 540$ in my bank account. I get 30$ a month. i need it by august because im going to this new school were we are allowed to carry them around to use for notes and things.
I was also considering the ipad 2 , but i have and ipod touch 4th gen.
If you want, could you please say why i should choose a certain one.

You should choose the cheapest product since this saves a lot of your money. Buy Galaxy Tab 10.1.

I've researched a number of upcoming Honeycomb tablets. I've limited my attention to the 10.1" tablets and have the following list:
Motorola Xoom
Motorola Xoom - WiFi only (no US release announced yet)
Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (2)
HTC Scribe
Asus Eee Pad Slider
Ases Eee Pad Transformer
Toshiba Tablet
Acer Iconia Tab 500
Each has the NVIDIA® Tegra 2™:1Ghz Dual Core Process and WXGA graphics (1280x768-800)
All have Wifi, Bluetooth, either HDMI or mini HDMI, front and rear facing camera (varying resolutions), SD or micro SD slot, Full or mini USB.
RAM ranges fom 512MB to 1GB and storage capacity on each ranges from 16GB to 32GB.
There's incomplete specs, but all should have at least accelerometer and gyroscope. Some have ambient light sensors, compass, etc.
Now, the important feature - network connectivity. All except the Xoom WiFi-only, Toshiba Tablet, and both the Asus tablets have some sort of cellular connectivity built in. IMO, that's going to hurt most tablets by adding costs for components. Perhaps subsidized carrier prices may help sales, but I, myself, cannot justify the expense when I can just tether the tablet to my phone.
I predict the 2011 Honeycomb tablet war winner will be: Asus!
I'd have never though I'd pick them, but their tablets look pretty good. Although the netbook craze is dying out, Asus made it work when the other PC manufacturers laughed (and then raced to play catch-up). They know how to deliver quality products at affordable prices.
