When is Apple's one day sale, also when is iPad 2 coming out?

I have heard that once a year Apple has a one day sale, does anyone know when it will be?
Also when is the 2nd iPad coming out?

I have never heard of this one day dale, but it also depends which country you want to buy from. I would of thought the new iPad would of came out in January 2011, because Apple usually releases its new products the same time every year. But a lot of people are saying that the iPad will come out on June. I dont think the iPad will come out in June because the iPhone comes out the same month.

Why are Ipad 2 sales much higher than Motorola Xoom?

The xoom beats ipad 2 in most aspects, why are people buying ipad 2 instead of the xoom?

The Ipad2 is cheaper and lighter than the Xoom, as well as has a predecessor in the Ipad1 that gives people an idea of what to expect. No one has really used an Android tablet like the Xoom with Android 3.0. Many Ipad2's are bought by Ipad1 owners looking to upgrade. Nothing like that for the Xoom. Also, MAC lovers buy all the new MAC products, regardless of which is actually better.


If I could get one or the other, I'd actually go Xoom, with better web abilities, better screen, more open system. They both have their pros and cons depending on the user and preferences. Personally though, I don't think tablets have really solidified their purpose. They are cool, they can do certain things that fit between a smart phone and a laptop, but aren't better than either in crossover areas. They are just expensive new toys, but don't perform any function better than anything else that has similar functions.

There are many rumors about the Ipad 2, and I read somewhere about foxconn needing to ship by feb, are the advertising to get of old stock or just to increase sales?
