I have a plan with Verizon wireless. why do they give me a credit limit?
I have a Droid incredible with Verizon wireless. Also a Samsung Fascinate on the second line (my sister's). I was with Alltel when they got bought out by Verizon and everything just carried over I guess. As the months went by I was shocked to learn that I could charge up to $700 on my "account" and so I ended up charging the Samsung which I paid. Next I charged an iPad 2 to my account at a local Verizon store. I paid it (although it took some considerable time to do so---like 3 months time making partial payments mainly cuz I lost my job of 8 years suddenly). Now that that's paid off, I called Verizon and my credit limit with them or at any Verizon store is now $800. Do they give charge accounts to anyone that has a plan with them? Also, I'm curious to know if anyone out there had difficulty getting a plan with Verizon wireless? You know, as far as having to make a deposit or being outright turned down?

Verizon WiFi capable?
So my family's 2-year plan is up with verizon. I saw on some of the newer phones, wifi capable. What does that mean? Does that work like the ipad or ipod touch? Or do you have to get a data plan? Thanks so much!!

Of course you have to get. Plan. That's how they make their money. It says so in the small print of all those phone adds.
Wifi on the phone allows you to connect to your router, or at the coffee shop, and wifi usage does not count towards your monthly data plan.

Which phone is best for business? (Iphone ,Android, or Windows)?
In the next few months I plan on starting my own brokerage firm in Sacramento and I currently have a blackberry bold. Unfortunately it does not meet the standards I would need to help me run my firm. I am currently using the verizon network. And I am torn between upgrading my phone to an iPhone 4 (which I am worried about since apple is bound to come out with a new one within the next few months and i need one in a month). Or an android phone and a windows phone. When you give me your opinion please give me a legitimate reason. Also I currently have an iPad 2, are there any applications that would allow my clients to sign documents, credit card transactions, etc.

Okay...I'm going to be very evasive with this...but it depends on what particular applications you're looking for. All three platforms offer a level of productivity. Now going in-depth to what you were looking for, on your iPad, I'm not so sure which will best suite your needs. I would suggest possibly coming up with applications that you know you'll need, and searching the market on each device to see if it has it. Naturally, Windows Phone 7 is targeted toward enterprise users (or at least try) However, how beneficial it really is can be argued. With Android, there are many applications that may or may not suite your needs, as the same with Apple's IOS software. The only reason in which I would lean toward Android, other than my personal bias for it, is that it offers an easy way to download all sorts of files, and transfer them back and fourth via your pc. But IOS and Android both offer software to synchronize back and fourth.
So....lol...I don't know if that helped, but whatever plateform will suite your needs the best.

The Samsung Droid Charge features version 2.2 of the Android OS, a 1-GHz processor, a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED touch screen, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, and a Web browser with support for Adobe Flash. All of this functionality doesn't come cheap, however: Verizon Wireless offers the Droid Charge for $300 on contract.
