Can you really get the Ipad 2 for $100 if you say "dave sent you"?
I am looking for reasons to convince my mum to buy me an ipad (PLEASE DO NOT COMMENT SAYING DON'T GET ONE) and i saw a david letterman youtube vid and on it, it said
"9. Apple will sell it to you for $100 is you tell 'em dave sent you"
...is that true?
if i go to an apple store today and say dave sent me will they give it to me for $100?

Letterman is a talk show host/comedian well known for his "Top 10" lists. Here he was poking fun at Apple's latest highly profitable gadget. I'm sure that your mum will be convinced by the complete list (not).

Is the ipad 2 worth it if i have a macbook pro and iphone 4?
I am 13 years old and I love apple products. I have always wanted the ipad ever since it came out. I would use it at a friends or on the boat or at a resturaunt. Even when im bored at night in my bed. I can get it like within a couple of months but i was just wondering if it is worth it ifI have an iphone 4 and macbook pro. I know I dont need the ipad but I do want one I would love to use the internet youtube and the games. I would like some opinions. Thanks!

If you want it, go ahead. It's got the two cameras like the iPhone 4 and it also has a microphone too, like the original iPad. It's got the same features as iPhone 4 minus calling and texting. I believe the MacBook pro has a webcam and a microphone like my HP Mini netbook.
The iPad 2 has a slightly smaller screen than the original, but it is still much, much larger than the iPhone screen. It is a little like the MacBook in numerous ways, too.
It would seem a little pointless, but if you want it, go ahead and get it.
