Is there any difference if you buy ipad 2 from verizon or from apple?

i know that verizon has the ipad 2 for $630 and apple has the ipad 2 for $500. whats the difference between the two and if there isn't one why is there a price difference?

Verizon or AT&T versions of the iPad 2's have the 3G internet plan, which allows you to use the internet wherever you are for a cost, while the Apple one is just regular WiFi. The reason there's a price difference PLUS the 3G bill is because the 3G model supports 3G I guess. By that I mean you can't get a 3G plan on a regular iPad 2 and you can't remove the 3G plan from a 3G iPad 2. I recommend the standard WiFi because of the cheaper cost and the fact that you really don't need 3G.

You are comparing a phone and a tablet device...ofcourse iphone...remember primary use is to use it as a phone...something that claims to do so much more will often fall short where it matters most..in the case of the ipad...size..
