Skype problems with iPad 2?

My boyfriend got a brand new iPad 2 for Christmas, and we tried Skyping for the first time with his iPad and my laptop and I could hear and see him just fine, but he could only hear me, but not see me. Anything that could fix this?

Ask your boyfriend to DELETE his skype app and re-install it, if it doesnt work out, try re installing your skype on your laptop

Flash apps here, flash downloads there! WHAT WORKS. Also the only place my damn Wi-Fi works is my bloody basement
