Questions About Ipad 2 Weight

Richard asks…

what is the difference between iPad and iPad 2?

i basically want an iPad 2, but the price really puts me off. is it really worth more money than the first one? I know it has a camera, but i don't care about the camera, and i know its thinner, but i dont care about that either. other than those too, what are the real differences?? and is it worth paying extra money for the iPad 2 when the 2 major differences (camera and weight) dont make any difference to me??

(2) iPad 2 is equipped with 2 cameras one in front and other in rear.
(3) iPad 2 come with new Apple iOS 4.3 which has some feature improvement and better browser performance.
(4) iPad 2 is 33% thinner and 15% lighter than iPad.
(6) iPad 2 gives an extremely good multi media experience.
(7) iOS 4.3 introduce two applications, enhanced iMovie and GarageBand. And mail client specially for gmail
(8) iPad 2 support Bluetooth tethering while iPad does not.

Paul asks…

What do you think about the iPad 2?

I have the original iPad but I only got it because it was from one of my friends and he gave it to me for a really good price.
Now I just wanna know people's opinions on the iPad 2, I mean there's not many difference except the second one has a camera with face time and is a little thinner ( which they clearly could of came up with last year but they didn't want to because they wanted to make more money) anyway I just want to know........
If you have the first one what do you think about it?
would you get the second one?
And finally do you think it's going to be as popular as the first one?

misc-please don't tell me you want to it the second one because it's "thinner" and it weights less because they first one wasn't thick or heavy. I want a good legit reason.

I would DEFINITELT stick with the ipad 1. Add less than 1 MP cameras and slightly faster rendering and you get ipad 2. It's a shame apple put such crappy cameras in this device.

Helen asks…

Need motivation for Weight Loss!?!? please help?

Hey!
I am a 17 year old college student male, 5'11'' height, i weight 215 pounds :( My "fat" is mostly in my abdominal area, and some on my thighs.. I hate it! I'm sick of being chubby, and flabby. I joined a gym two months ago, and I enjoy going there, when I started I kept going for 2-3 weeks and lost like 13 pounds, and I pretty much gained them back, cause I lost interest and stopped.. Plus, when I went I'd work out hard, like I was able to run a mile non stop, and then do treadmill on a slop, plus the elliptical and weight machines, but after my exercise I just felt like "rewarding" myself with a chicken burger at mcdonalds or burger king! which was BADD! How do I mantain motivation? I'm going to start again, hopefully fully determined, plus my dad promised me that if I lose a certain amount of weight he will be me an Ipad. ohh, and now I made a chart with my weight loss.. I'll just be putting in my weights like every three days NO foods, I can't do the "write everything down you eat"..
THANKS! :)

Here's a quick quide you can follow to help flatten your stomach. Print this list out and post it somewhere in your house where you'll see it.

1. Walk/jog for 30 minutes at least 3 times per week to boost your metabolism in order to burn that fat.

2. Eat a small handful of almonds (at least 6) every morning. Almonds are one of the healthiest snacks you can eat and the protein is good for burning fat.

3. Purchase a Pilates DVD and do the exercises at least 2-3 times per week. Pilates works on toning your entire body with concentration on your powerhouse (middle section) and will improve your flexibility.

4. Add fiber to your diet and cut down your intake of the bad carbs. Foods such as white bread, pastas, potatoes, and white rice should be limited. Eat brown rice and whole wheat bread instead. To get that needed fiber increase your intake of fresh fruits and vegetables (especially the leafy green ones).

Carol asks…

Should I get an iPad if I already have a iPod Touch and Netbook?

I'm not going to get iPad 2. I do not need the camera or the less weight etc. So i would be getting the 1st. I was in the iTunes store today, and i couldn't let of the iPad. I was forced to.. I'd love to get one for some iPad-only apps, and also for some apps that would look better on the large screen. It'd pretty much replace my netbook EXCEPT for downloadable programs. But really, do you think there's much point in me getting an iPad if i have both a touch and a netbook? Opinions.

admin answers:

If you have a netbook already your way ahead of a iPad.

I know there is this Apple love fest thing to buy yourself a new electronic toy, but the truth is after spending $4000 for this brand new 2.3 Ghz Quad Core anti-glare 17" MacBook Pro and blowing the pants off a roomful of Windows losers when I run Windows 7, OS X and Linux all at the same time and switch between them effortlessly...

..oh my point is you get a few days of joy then it's over. It comes to become a machine like anything else you own, it has to be practical and functional. (and yes I needed this new machine, my last MBP is over 7 years old, still going, but looking ragged)

So since you already have a netbook which is a lot more practical, functional and less expensive than the iPad, (which can't run Flash, or has much storage, pay extra for the keyboard/stand) then what are you really blowing $500-$1000 for? To make yourself happy for a day or so?

There is NO must have feature the iPad has that a laptop or a netbook can't also do. Unless you count Angry Birds? And someone is already working on a porting software so those few good iOS only programs can run on normal computers.

Look at this guy, he bought a iPad and stopped using it because the MacBook Air is more functional and practical. Comes with a monitor stand and a built in keyboard. Now that iPad of his sits somewhere in his house unused, he got 300 days out of it, paying likely around $3 a day.

But low and behold, you already have a small portable netbook!

You won't lose your typing skills and you won't get a hurt hand holding the iPad.

Another shocker, data on the iPad and other SSD/flash memory devices is not being erased!!
