i want to unlock my iphone 3g 4.2.1 without changing baseband to the ipad's baseband. I heard ultrasn0w 1.3 is out, can that unlock the iphone 3g 4.2.1?

help me get a 3g iphone to work on t-mobile please?
ok so today i bought a iphone 3g. i jailbroke it with redsn0w. i then re-jailbroke it to get the ipad band on it. i turned off 3g and used ultrasn0w to unlock. when it rebooted i popped in my t-mobile si card. now where it shows the signal and network name it just says searching...
im running on 4.2.1 and my band is 6.15.00
can someone please help me to get this working i dont want my iphone to become a ipod.
i want someone who can help me figure this out and yes you can use a iphone on t-mobile if you lock it

iPhone 3G Not Booting?
My iPhone 3G is running 4.2.1 firmware, on the iPad baseband so I could unlock it. I tried to install iBoot and ended up having to restore my device as I messed it up. Becuase I restored but have the iPad baseband, it is in a boot loop and gets stuck on the Apple logo. I cannot do anything with it. Please help :)

You will need redsn0w and youll need iphone 3gs 4.2.1 firmware to fix your iphone.
REASON: The recent jailbreak is tethered which means everytime your iphone restarts the jailbreak will fail and youll have to connect your iphone to the computer and use redsn0w to boot tethered only.

connect your iphone to the computer and launch redsn0w. Browse and select the iphone 4.2.1 firmware you just donwloaded and then select "boot tethered only " option in redsn0w.
IMP: Select only boot tethered option and nothing else.
Follow the onscreen instructions to enter dfu mode and youll be able to use your iphone again.This is a temporary problem and developers are working on a untethered jailbreak which will be released before christmas.So everytime you restart your iphone you'll have to use redsn0w.

PS: Trust me you dint get screwed. Your iphone rebooted and that causes "ALL" devices on 4.2.1 to lose the jailbreak.Follow the above steps and it will be alright

Can I still install custom apps as an Apple Developer Member, even after Jailbreaking my device?
I jail broke my iPhone, not realising that I can only unlock certain features on my iPhone 3G, and seems I can't install apps' (for testing) at all.
Subsequently I joined the Apple Developer Program, I can create certificates and profiles, etc.
However apps developed on my computer won't install on the iPhone 3G, only my iPad 2 and Android devices
Am I right in assuming that you can't install in-house dev' apps if the iPhone is jail broken,
even though the apps are signed with a proper certificate and mobileprovisional?
It would be nice to test on my iPad and iPhone together :)

My mate jailbreak his G3 and installed a few apps BUT wen he got an update software message (which he did ) it totally locked it on to ITUNES SCREEN . TOOK HIM 4DAYS TO RESOLVE IT .
Just a little note for u to remember DONT UPDATE UR ITUNES PROGRAMME ON UR G3 .
