Does the iPhone 4 sim card work in the iPad after the iOS 4.2.1 update?

I know for a fact it worked before the update (iPad update) and I really want to know if it will work after the update before I purchase my top of the line iPad. Thanks in advance!

Ipad update 4.2.1 help?

Ok, so i updated my ipad to the newest version, 4.2.1, and apparently now insted of the screen lock to keep it from going into landscape view, its the sound lock, to keep it silent or not. So how do i change it back?

You cannot change the Screen lock using the slider on the side of the iPad.

To lock the screen hold the iPad in the orientation you want to lock then Double-Click the Home button and the multitasking interface will pop up. To lock the screen orientation swiping to the left most multitasking screen which will bring up a number of fixed controls. Tap the left most button, which is square with an image of a circular arrow inside it. A padlock will appear in the centre of the button. The screen orientation is now locked and an orientation lock icon appears in the status bar.

To unlock picture orientation just, double-click the Home button and the multitasking interface will pop up. Swipe to the left most multitasking screen and tap the left most button, which is square with an image of a circular arrow inside it and a padlock inside the circle. The padlock will disappear in the centre of the button, and you're done.

How to update Ipad 3.2.2 to 4.2.1, not 4.3?

I'm looking for 2 days now, how do i update the ipad from 3.2.2 to 4.2.1, and not to 4.3 like itunes wants me to do.
is there a other way to update the ipad with a older ipsw then currently available?

I want to update my Ipad,
Can I normaly update it on Itunes, or it may lock it afterwards ? (Like for some of the Iphones, when you update them, they will lock )
If it may lock, how can i check ?
