Does the iPad 2 have a higher resolution screen?

No, the new iPad comes with the same screen as the original. I think the iPad 2 is worth because its the same price and has a few extra features, but the only feature i like is the dual-core processor. I would rather have the original iPad design and i wont be using the cameras, facetime or photobooth, so if i found a cheap first gen iPad, i would get that.

iPad 2; Does it have a good screen resolution (I will choose best answer)?

I know the iPad 2 has a 1024x768 display but I'm not sure what that looks like. I mean can you see the single pixels so that circles and curved edges look bad like the HTC Wildfire. I do have an iPod touch 4th generation and I know the screen resolution on that is brilliant. Could some one please tell me how good the iPad's screen is compared to the one on the iPod touch 4.

The iPad 2 display is good. However, it is not outstanding like the iPod Touch 4's / iPhone 4's Retina display. Many are hoping for a Retina display in the next version of the iPad.

Should I buy the new iPod Touch or the new iPad 2?

I have the iPod Touch 2g and I think it's time for an upgrade (what do you think?) to the iPod 4g. However, lately I have been thinking of buying the iPad 2 instead. The only problem I have with it is it might be too bulky for me to carry around and utilize. I would probably just use it at home because of its bulk. I loved that the iPod Touch is small and really easy to carry around. I liked being able to just whip it out and look up something. The iPad 2 has a bigger screen (but not as good a resolution as iPad 2g?) but much more difficult to carry. So, iPod Touch 2g or iPad 2?

Depwnds on who you are if your on the go all the time or riding the buss carpooling outside alot i would sugest ipod touch if your work is traveling on plane long trips annd have to stay in hotels or your more of an inside person and have a buisness ipad would be better oh and if you like taking lots of pictures then ipod because ipad is harder and u would look silli hope i helped :)

iPad 2 for Christmas, or wait for 3?

Im just curious. Are any of you getting the iPad 2 for christmas being that the third is rumored to come out as early as like February? Even if it's rumored to have double the resolution, a6 quad core, etc. Maybe 1080p video recording?
Like i said just curious on what ya'll are planning to do.

The Apple iPad 2 MC769LL/A Tablet is absurdly thin. More importantly than it's thinness is its tapered edge which feels more natural in your hand. One of the biggest complaints about the original iPad was it really wasn't tremendously comfortable to hold for long periods at a time. For a tablet device designed to be held, that's a pretty big deal.
