Robert asks…
I am getting the iPad 2 for my birthday which is in a few days??? I have some unaswered questions?
So these are the questions I need answered? And please give me an explanation?
1. White or Black iPad 2?
2) What color smart case should I get? Blue? Green? or Pink?
3) 16 GB or 32 GB?
4) Does the iPad 2 have a USB Port?
5) Is the iPad 2 worth the money?
6) What is your opinion on the iPad 2?
admin answers:
The iPad 2 is very much a video device. The resolution is the same, the price is the same and the battery life is the same. The new feature is a front and back facing camera which was not available on the original iPad.
The second generation iPad 2 will have 3G network support along with Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n) and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR. Apple has shelled out a new HDMI cable connector that promises 1080p HD video output when connected to the proprietary 30-pin dock connector port on the iPad 2.

IPad is fabulous gadget BUT its not a replacement for a computer. I am getting iPad 16GB Wi-Fi+3G and it will minimize use of my Laptop but I can do it coz I have tremendous knowledge of Apps and iPad.
So if you know in and out of App , you might replace the computer.

Questions about Sketchbook Pro for iPad?
Thinking about getting the app, but I have a couple of concerns that hopefully those of you who have the app on their iPad have the answers.
1) I know it's like photoshop, but could I open an image on my iPad and do digital inking on it like in Photoshop?
2) Can I transfer the file(s) between the iPad and my computer?
Thanks.
admin answers:
Yes, you can do digital inking. Even on an iPhone you can do very detailed work, provided you have a stylus.
Not sure about transfering the files to a computer though.
Edit: I haven't tried it myself, but from what I've read it seems you can transfer Sketchbook Pro files to your computer as PSD's or TIFFs.
