Apple has a feature called airprint some HP prints have this feature build in or check out http://www.steinpc.com/i1.htm to setup your home wireless network shared printer to print from you ipad. Safari icon is next to the address and one of the selection will be print. There are some apps to do print in the app store.

IOS devices can only print to several specific models of printers. Look at apple.com for the types. Urs is probably not one of them.

Can you place orders for things on the iPad 2 and print stuff off the device? Just like a normal computer now?

You could always order stuff because both iPads have the Safari web browser. And both can print the same way (though not like a regular computer), if you have the latest update installed on the iPad 1.

The main differences in the iPad 2: Faster, thinner, lighter, has front and back cameras.
